คณะ

น. ประชุม ;  หมู่ ;  กลุ่ม ทางวินัย คณะ หมายถึงพระภิกษุ 2 หรือ 3 รูป  ถ้าถึง 4 รูป หรือมากกว่านั้น  ก็เป็นสงฆ์  แต่โดยทั่วไปใช้หมายถึงกลุ่มคน  จำนวนมากได้  บางทีหมายถึง หมู่

n. denomination ; group; crowd ; company; according to the code of discipline the word “gana” means “a chapter of two or three monks,” while the word “sangha”  means “a chapter  of four or more than four monks.”  เรียกว่า คณณะ ก็ได้
